ETOILE DE NEIGE, Pila (Valle d'Aosta)

Etoile De Neige is a modern, Alpine-style hotel next to the Chamolé chairlift in Pila, Valle d'Aosta. Pila is both a winter and summer Alpine resort, located 18 km above the old Roman town of Aosta and 20 km from the end of the Torino-Aosta motorway. Visitors traveling through France or Switzerland can use the Mont Blanc tunnel or St. Bernard pass. Turin is 100 km away.

The hotel features 48 guestrooms and one suite. All rooms include en suite bathrooms with shower. Each room has a color TV, telephone, and small fridge with bar. Most rooms have a balcony overlooking the valley or the ski slopes. Some rooms accommodate families of 3/4 persons. Amenities include heating, mini-bar, terrace, free Wi-Fi, free toiletries, and a flat-screen TV. Room options include Alpine-style rooms with satellite TV. Bed preferences can be specified when booking.

Guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. Customers can return to the hotel for lunch and are offered a catering line that includes an appetizer, a first course, a salad, and fruit salad for €14.00 per person. The kitchen prepares local and regional dishes alongside traditional national and international cuisine. A large and varied morning and evening buffet is available. A lavish selection of antipasti is followed by a choice of three first courses, three second courses, with cheese, fruit, or sweets.

Hotel Etoile de Neige offers ski-to-door access and a ski school. Guests can enjoy recreational amenities such as a sauna and a fitness center. Onsite, guests can play table tennis and billiards. The Hotel has a large, comfortable reception area with an 'American Bar' and full-size pool table. Other amenities: a large TV and conference room, table tennis, video games, fusball, a fitness area and sauna. An alpine guide will take guests into the lower slopes of Mont Blanc and the Gran Paradiso National Park. All guests are invited to the secluded valley of Plan de L'Eyve.

Reception can supply guests with fax, internet, and electronic post facilities, along with a safe for valuables. Information and brochures about the resort and the Aosta Valley are available. The only costs to guests is for the guide during Tuesday and Thursday's day away. Guests can quench their thirst with a drink at the bar/lounge. The hotel welcomes small pets in the rooms for a final cleaning fee of €15, but the hotel should be notified when you book.
