ETOILE DE NEIGE, Pila (Valle d'Aosta)

Etoile De Neige has 51 rooms and one suite. All rooms include en suite bathrooms with showers, color TVs (some with English-speaking channels), telephones, and small fridges with bars. Most rooms feature a balcony with views of the valley or ski slopes. Some rooms accommodate families of three to four people. Room features include heating, a mini-bar, a terrace, free Wi-Fi, free toiletries, and a flat-screen TV. Bed preferences should be specified when booking.

The kitchen specializes in local and international cuisine. The hotel serves a large breakfast and dinner buffet. For lunch, guests can return to the hotel from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM for an appetizer, a first course, and dessert at €15.00 per person. Main dishes are served at the table for dinner, while vegetables, legumes, and desserts are available buffet style. Customers who wish to return to the hotel even for lunch are offered a catering line which includes a Brunch including 1 appetizer, 1 house first course, 1 salad and fresh fruit salad or sweet at €14.00 per person

The hotel features ski-to-door access and a ski school. Guests can use recreational amenities such as a sauna and a fitness center, or play table tennis and billiards. There is a large TV and conference room, a quiet area for cards or board games, video games, and fusball.

Etoile De Neige, a modern, Alpine-style hotel, is next to the Chamolé chairlift in Pila, a winter and summer Alpine resort. Pila is 18 km above Aosta and 20 km from the end of the Torino-Aosta motorway (A5). Visitors from France or Switzerland can use the Mont Blanc tunnel or St. Bernard Pass. Nearby landmarks include the Pila Observatory (0.3 km), the Roman Theatre (5 km), and the Eremo di San Grato (1 km).

The hotel has a large, comfortable reception area with an 'American Bar' and a full-size pool table. Reception provides fax, internet, and electronic post facilities, along with a safe for valuables. An alpine guide accompanies guests to the lower slopes of Mont Blanc, the Gran Paradiso National Park, and the secluded valley of Plan de L'Eyve. The guide costs extra on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
